Documentary Video Production & Photography — Pascua Yaqui Housing
Documentary Video Production & Photography for Organizations & Businesses
We traveled to Arizona to document the ribbon cutting of a new elder housing building for the Pascua Yaqui Tribe, created in partnership with Travois.
Over the course of a couple days, we photographed the new building, interviewed the project's architect, investors, members of the Tribal Housing Board, and community members whose lives have been positively impacted by the development.
We also documented the ribbon-cutting for the new building, a beautiful celebration of this massive accomplish for the Tribe.
Throughout every conversation, one theme continued to emerge: the importance of creating safe, beautiful homes where elders can remain connected to their community, culture, and family.
Our goal was to create a documentary that felt personal and honest. Rather than relying on scripted messaging, we wanted the people closest to the project to tell its story in their own words. The result is an 12-minute film, and two supporting social media reels. The film celebrates the new building, their ongoing developments, and the relationships, collaboration, expertise, and shared vision that makes it all possible.

Projects like this are why we love documentary filmmaking. Spending time with people, listening intently to their stories, views, experiences, and paying attention to the details tells the story better than any script could.
Our goal with all projects is to tell real stories with honesty, care, and beautiful imagery.
