The Process

1 Booking

First, we’ll have a discovery call over the phone or Zoom to talk about the project goals and details. Then, we’ll send you a contract and schedule your project start date. Once you’ve signed the contract & paid the deposit, we’ll dive into exploring your brand’s style, voice, messaging, and more.

2 Brand Exploration

We’ll discuss your existing branding and determine the visual direction for your site that best serves your business goals. This part looks a little different for everyone and may include mood boards and a combination of emails, Zoom calls, etc.

3 Content Exploration

This is when you’ll gather the content that will go on your website and we’ll discuss the user experience, making sure everything flows.

4 Website Design

We build your custom website with the best SEO (search engine optimization) practices in mind. This includes 2-3 rounds of revisions. We’ll also format the site for mobile viewing, integrate your social and other accounts, and test everything to make sure it’s functioning smoothly.

5 Site Launch!

After everything is all set up and looking perfect, we’ll take your site live and transfer ownership over to you!! 🎉🥂 At this point, we’ll do (an optional) final training so you’re able to update it on your own in the future.

Post-Project

We offer optional post-project site management and creative content subscriptions.

    There are many things that can affect the ever-evolving search engine algorithms. The above three things are a solid starting point, and we recommend you continue to revisit this topic as time goes on. Think of it as your regular web presence maintenance. This is something we’ll work on in detail with you when we begin the website process!

  • Yes definitely! We’ll handle the details, you’ll just need the login info for your current domain provider.

  • Search Engine Optimization. It’s basically the process of making your website easy for both potential customers and search engines to understand, in order to show up high in the search rankings. There are a certain set of best practices here, and we’ll help guide you through all of them and apply those practices to your new website and online presence!

  • Yes! This is something we’ll talk about before you book, so that we know everything we’re including in the website package.

  • We design all sites entirely from scratch on Squarespace. Through time we’ve used many different platforms, and Squarespace is our current favorite for website design. This is because there’s so much design possibility and functionality, and it’s good for SEO and security. We also love how functional and easy it is for our clients to use once we turn the site over to them.

  • We require a deposit at the time of booking, and set payment dates that work for both of us through the course of the project that we decide upon ahead of time. We also offer payment plans in 4 installments!

  • We can do all kinds of fun things! We love to make sites full of personality & style! Some design elements are more time-consuming than others, so we’ll need to talk about all of this ahead of time to make sure we include everything we need to in your package.

  • We can design a site within pre-determined brand guidelines, or do a bit of lite brand design before the web design project begins. We’ll talk this over in your consult call and figure out what the best option is for you!
